Description

As a Service Desk Coordinator at NCS, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of tickets within our dynamic technical support environment. Your responsibilities include receiving and assigning tickets, overseeing their progress, and maintaining effective communication with our technical team. This position requires a meticulous approach to ticket management, strong coordination skills, and the ability to enforce procedural adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and assign tickets from client calls, emails, or automatically generated sources.

  • Regularly check and update ticket statuses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedural guidelines.

  • Communicate with technicians to ensure timely updates and resolution of assigned tickets.

  • Follow up on idle tickets, escalating issues when necessary, and scheduling future actions.

  • Ensure accurate client contact information is associated with each ticket.

  • Close tickets appropriately upon resolution.

  • Collaborate with the technical team to identify and assign tickets based on support levels.

  • Perform administrative tasks during downtime, including documentation updates and client information maintenance


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in supervising and coordinating roles is highly desirable.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to procedural adherence and consistency.

  • Basic knowledge of common client issues to facilitate effective ticket assignment.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks for the entire team and lead by example.

  • Diligent and methodical approach to task management in a fast-paced environment.

  • Curiosity about the technical side of the industry or hands-on experience is a plus.
